 Tanya Lelo is an ICF-accredited, Certified Professional Life and Leadership Coach, with her specialty niche in coaching members of the Law Enforcement community. Her more than 25 years as a park ranger and environmental compliance professional gave her the opportunity to work very closely with various law enforcement agencies throughout the years.
Many years of working in various leadership capacities have also given her the intimate knowledge and understanding of what makes a good leader as well as how to coach anyone to become a strong leader in whatever role they choose.
Her previous positions as a park ranger/interpretive naturalist, college instructor, teacher training facilitator, customer service specialist, river guide, entrepreneur and small business owner have afforded her the opportunity to gain a wide array of skills and experiences which allow her to successfully connect with many varied groups.
In addition, she is an extremely experienced workshop facilitator, conducting well over 500 training workshops for a variety of audiences since 1989. Tanyaʼs easy-going personality, enthusiasm about the topics, ability to actively engage all participants and high-energy style makes her a favorite among all groups. Her highly interactive workshops on leadership skills, communication, stress management and personal development integrate well with both her one-on-one and group coaching programs. (Plus, she's just a lot of fun to be around!)
Tanya received her Bachelors of Science degree in Recreation and Parks from Pennsylvania State University. She received her coaching certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), and is also an Energy Leadership IndexTM Master Practitioner. Tanya is owner of River of Opportunities, LLC, a coaching business based in Golden, Colorado. She is also the Co-Coordinator for the Colorado Coaching Community and a member of the International Coach Federation.
In her spare time, Tanya is an avid flyfisherman and likes to fish and travel throughout Colorado and the US.
